Miner Marinade

Now that you have the garlic mashed potatoes, I thought I’d share with you what I did with the steak along side the potatoes. This is the marinade recipe I used. It comes from Marci at On My Menu. It’s a marinade she uses a lot and she mentions using it on chicken. I used it on steaks.

I usually always buy petite sirloin steaks. I can usually get them on sale for around $1.99 a pound. They always turn out great and tender. Now for the 4 steaks I cooked and only made half of the marinade recipe. It was great on steaks, I’ll have to try it on chicken next time.

Miner Marinade
  • ¾ c. olive oil
  • ½ c. soy sauce
  • 2 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ t. salt
  • 1 t. pepper
  • ¼ c. wine vinegar
  • 1 t. parsley flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed
  1. Mix all ingredients together. Let your meat of choice marinade overnight in it! The grill accordingly to the type of meat used.
