When Chick-fil-A came out with their frosted lemonade a while ago, I knew I HAD to try it. I love their lemonade, so frosted had to be even better. When I did try it, I fell in love!
Now, I always get mine made with their diet lemonade. So to get that reduced calorie version at home, I use a light lemonade. I have found that with the light lemonade I use, it doesn’t have enough of a tart lemon flavor. Chick-fil-A’s lemonade is super tart. So to get the tanginess that I want, I just add in a little fresh lemon juice and I get the right flavor!
Once you have your lemonade, all you need is some ice cream. It is that easy to have your own version at home. Now I can have one any time I crave one!
- 1 cup lemonade
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- lemon juice, if needed to achieve desired tartness
- In a blender, add lemonade and ice cream and blend until smooth. Taste and add lemon juice if needed. Serve in a glass. Makes 1 serving.
