Creamy Tomato Soup in the Slow Cooker

My family loves to enjoy a bowl of tomato soup along with a grilled cheese sandwich. They are happy to just have a can of tomato soup, but I have found this simple recipe that is just about as easy as opening that can of tomato soup.  However, the taste is even better!

This soup is made with canned crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, and cream along with a few seasonings. I love to put it in the slow cooker and let it go, but it can be prepared on the stove top if you are short on time.
