Sour Cream Waffles

Waffles are one of my favorite breakfast items but they are also perfect for dinner. I love the versatility of waffles. There is so many ways you can top them. I tend to prefer to top them with berries in some form along with whipped cream.

These waffles are particularly tasty because they are made using both sour cream and buttermilk. I have made recipes that use one or the other but never both. These would be prefect to make as a surprise Valentine’s Day breakfast. I have another great waffle recipe to add to my collection now.

Sour Cream Waffles |

Sour Cream Waffles
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • 1½ cups buttermilk
  1. IN a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl.
  2. Then add in the eggs, sour cream, and buttermilk. Beat until smooth.
  3. Cook according to the manufacturers instructions for your waffle maker. Makes 4-6 waffles depending on your waffle maker.
