  1. I usually have most things done the day before. When we have a bbq or cookout it is usually a big deal so it helps preparing way ahead of time.

  2. My neighbor has a pool, which I am welcome to use whenever I want (lucky me!!) I always apply lots of sunscreen and grab my pool float, put some music on and enjoy. Thank you!

  3. I often forget to do this until it’s too late, but one thing I try to do is get drinks chilling in the fridge so that they’re cold by the time the BBQ starts.

  4. I make sure to have a variety of food (burgers, hot dogs, veggies, salads, chips, etc). I also make sure to have plenty of sunscreen!

  5. Usually when we go to the pool it is me taking my 4 boys with some family. We usually go during the day when my husband is at work, so I am usually running around the house making sure everyone has their swimming suits on and has sunblock on, towels, water, and life jackets. It is hectic!

  6. We pack our bags the night before. we make sure to have our towels, sunscreen, snacks and drinks ready. thanks for the chance.

  7. We usually buy and freeze the meat weeks in advance so we can get the best price.

On the twitter follows, I followed you and Sun Chips, even though the rafflecopter doesn’t specify.

  8. I make all of my dishes in advance, marinate the meat and all I have to do is throw it on the grill.

  9. i always make sure to premake my fruit salad the night before and freeze it so when we take it to the beach it defrosts while we play and when its time to eat its great to cool you down

  10. For a BBQ, we make up a menu a week ahead of time. And I get the house cleaned early. That way we can really enjoy the day without stress.

  11. I prep as much as I can in advance, and make sure the cooler is stocked! Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.

  12. The most important thing to do before hosting a bbq is to clean the grill! It makes a huge difference in the efficiency of the cooking.

  13. I try to have all of our swimsuits, sunscreen and beach towels packed in advance so we are ready to go!

  14. I try and prepare everything in advance, so more time can be spent with family in outdoor activities.
