I’ve heard of Monte Cristo but didn’t realize there was any sweet aspect involved–I find the powdered sugar and jam intriguing! Thanks for sharing this, it sounds wonderful and easy.

Laura, just wanted to say thanks for so many great recipes. I have tried several. I love being able to search ingredients…like spinach with the last Bountiful Basket, and lemons, blueberries, asparagus etc. I blogged about it and your recipes here;

They look awesome! You have inspired me to do green cupcakes! I love the idea of adding instant vanilla pudding mix to the batter. Can this be done with home made cake batter?
