Apple Fab Five

For today’s fab five we are continuing the Apple theme that we had all week.  I went through my archives and picked my favorite 5 apple recipes.   For even more apple inspiration, you can browse through my new apple category too.

Please excuse some of the photos taken in my early blog days.  Now that I am more skilled in photography, I am hoping to eventually go back and retake the old photos.

First is caramel apples, which are an absolute fall fav of mine.  So glad I have a good recipe to make mine at home.

Next is these simple apple dumplings.  If you haven’t tried them you simple must!  My family (including my husband who isn’t an apple fan) request this often.

German Apple Pancakes is a good way to enjoy apples for breakfast (or dinner)!  I think I may make this tomorrow morning for Sunday breakfast!

Then I always have apple pudding cake each fall.  The sauce is what makes it truely DIVINE!

Last is apple smothered pork chops.  I love the sweet and savory aspect in this dish and pork and apple are delicious together!
