BLT Pizza and a Giveaway

My experience with the Kraft Foods and Sam’s Club Dinner Planner is almost over. It has been really fun to be a part of this.

In case you didn’t know, I was one of five bloggers selected by Kraft Foods to work on the Kraft Foods and Sam’s Club Two Week Dinner Planner program. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program which includes my trip to Sam’s Club, my interactions/experience with the two week dinner planner and my posts about my experience. I have also been compensated for the food purchased for the two week dinner planner. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.

Even though I am now almost done with the planner, I will continue to share my experiences with all the recipes the month of July. Today I want to share with you the BLT Pizza recipe. This is a really fun idea. You take a cheese Di Giorno four cheese pizza, but make it fun and different by adding fresh ingredients as toppings after the pizza has been baked. I really did enjoy this change. However, I was unable to get my family to give this a try. They are not tomato fans and they thought it was weird to put the lettuce on a pizza. My family is big pizza eater so I cooked two pizzas for my family. Then I just used the ingredients to let everyone top their own slices of pizza. My family was more than happy to add the bacon, but that was about it. I did it all and loved the change.

As part of my experience with this dinner planner, I have been given to great prizes to giveaway to my readers. I have (1) $40 Sam’s Club Gift Card and (1) Sam’s Club Guest Membership, valued at $40. In order to enter, leave a comment on this post about which recipe in the dinner planner is your favorite or recipe recipe you want to most try. The contest will close Friday July 10 at midnight. Then the winners will be announced on Saturday July 11.

Here’s the link to check out the Kraft Foods and Sam’s Club Two Week Dinner Planner along with the personalized cookbook. http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?catg=13832 They are offering a set number of Sam Club member’s the opportunity to make their own personalized cookbook for free. You just pay for shipping. You could even make a cookbook with all your favorite Real Mom Kitchen recipes in it. :) Or you can choose from the Kraft recipe selection.

Then here is a link to find the closest Sam’s Club to you. http://www2.samsclub.com/clublocator/?est=19
