Key Lime Pie Fruit Dip

Here is another great recipe I found for fruit dip. I found it on the Slow Cooker 101 blog by Janet Eyring. She is the one who did the cookbooks 101 Things to Do with A Slow Cooker and 101 More Things to Do With a Slow Cooker. Now this recipe has NOTHING to do with a slow cooker , but it’s just as easy. This luscious lime dip gets it’s great flavor from a key lime pie yogurt. You can add a zest of one lime to it also. I did and would highly recommend it. The lime flavor was a nice compliment to the fruit. I served mine with strawberries and cantaloupe and it tasted fabulous on both.

Key Lime Pie Fruit Dip

1 Key lime pie yogurt
1 7 oz container marshmallow cream
1 8oz. Whipped cream cheese
Zest of one lime (Optional)

Pour all above ingredients into a medium size bowl and blend with a mixer until smooth. Mix in zest of one lime if desired. Serve with apples, strawberries, bananas, pineapple, grapes, etc.

It would be even better with the zest of key limes!

We had an after-baptism party for our little girl this past weekend. I should have never made this dip… The only taste of it I had was the pinky taste that I snuck while mixing it together and it was beyond delicious! My guests wolfed down 4 lbs of strawberries and all the dip in know time. My aunt even admitted to dipping some of the milder veggies off the veggie tray in it! Thanks for sharing!

This is the best fruit dip out there! I’ve tried many versions with different yogurts. It’s also very tasty without the yogurt — just marshmallow creme and cream cheese, you could eat it plain. Yummy!
