Hot Cocoa Mix

Today’s recipe is a hot cocoa mix you can make yourself and keep on hand for whenever you feel like a cup of warm chocolatey goodness. This recipe is a little different than the other 2 recipes I have shared before (Best Ever Hot Cocoa and Homemade Hot Cocoa Mix). Â This one uses hazelnut flavored coffee creamer. Â I love the addition of flavor that it adds.
You start this mix by placing dry milk and chocolate chips in a food processor or high powered blender (like a Blendtec). Process the ingredients in the food processor until it becomes a nice powder.

Now, add the powder to a large bowl. Then add in the dry hazelnut flavored coffee creamer, cocoa powder, powdered sugar, sugar, salt, and cornstarch. Whisk it all together until well combined with no clumps. Store it all in an airtight container.
To make a cup of hot cocoa, add 1/4 cup of the mix to 1 cup of hot water (or hot milk for a richer cup) and stir until well combined and the mixture has dissolved.
Here is what you need to make the
Hot Cocoa Mix
- INSTANT DRY MILK
- SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- HAZELNUT FLAVORED COFFEE CREAMER
- COCOA POWDER
