Strawberry Sunrise Smoothie

One year ago I joined Weight Watchers. While on their program, I discovered smoothies worked great for me for breakfast. Of course my next step was to find recipes for smoothies. I took ideas from different recipes and created several yummy smoothies. This happens to be one of my creations. It’s quick, easy, and delicious. I also love it because of the ingredients used, there’s no need for extra sugar.

Strawberry Sunrise Smoothie

1/2 cup orange juice (I use Tropicana Light in order to reduce the calories)
1/2 banana
4-5 frozen strawberries

Blend juice and banana together. Then add in strawberries and blend until smooth. Makes 1 serving.

Since we are discussing Strawberry Sunrise Smoothie | Real Mom Kitchen, For starters people tend to drink more green smoothies, sometimes up to two gallons per day depending on how acidic their body pH is. After several months the quantity goes down to 1-2 quarts per day.
