This week’s menu plan includes a dish that utilizes zucchini which is still in season. It also includes a yummy grilled chicken dish. I always say grill while you can. I threw in a crock pot dish along with a casserole to make double of so you can freeze one. Then you will have one in the freezer when life gets crazy. I also like to have the freezer meals on hand in case a friend needs some help. I can just go grab a meal from the freezer and drop it off.
Remember, recommended side dish ingredients are not included in the shopping list.
Menu Plan – Week 2
- BBQ Ribs in the Slow Cooker – can serve with crash potatoes, loaded potato casserole, or cooked rice
- Ground Beef Stroganoff
- Ham and Cheese Potato Casserole (this is your make one, freeze one meal) – can serve with 7-Up Biscuits or Perfect Freezer Biscuits.
- Grilled Chicken Breast Tostadas – I included prepared pico de gallo and guacamole on the shopping list. However, f you want to make your own, just go to the recipe for links on how to make your own and add the needed items to the shopping list.
