I got the idea for this recipe from a recipe that a friend gave me. It turned out to be a quick and easy dish that the family loves.
I use this as a main dish served over rice, but you can also use it as an appetizer. If you use it as an appetizer, I would reduce the ketchup and grape jelly to 1/2 cup each.
- ¾ cup ketchup
- ¾ cup grape jelly
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg of precooked frozen meatballs, thawed (make sure they are original and not Italian)
- In a skillet, combine ketchup and grape jelly. Heat over medium heat stirring frequently until grape jelly is dissolved.
- Add meatballs and stir to coat. Continue stirring until meatballs are heated through. Serve as an appetizer or over cooked rice for a main dish.
